Services Provided
Psychotherapy Dr. McClendon provides private psychotherapy sessions for adult Utah residents addressing Religious and Moral Scrupulosity (OCD-S). She is also authorized by the Association of State and Provincial Psychology Boards to provide telehealth (video chat) psychotherapy with clients living in the following states and US territories: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington state, Washington, D.C., West Virginia, and Wisconsin. (Other states have pending PSYPACT legislation: South Dakota and Vermont are tentatively scheduled to be effective on 7/1/2024.) Claire Breedlove, LCSW can also see those living in California, Florida, Idaho, Louisiana, Texas, and Utah (and currently working on getting licensed with Arizona). Sessions are 50 minutes. Dr. McClendon's appointments are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Day appointments only--she does not hold late afternoon or evening appointments. Claire Breedlove has flexible appointment scheduling, including evening appointments. Dr. McClendon offers treatment to adults (or to seniors in high school if they are homeschooled). If you are seeking treatment for your child or teen, Claire Breedlove is available to help you. OCD treatment is time intensive. If you do not feel you can dedicate committed time to therapy tasks outside of session (a minimum of 1 hour per day) due to your present schedule or circumstances, you may want to reconsider whether entering therapy at this time is the appropriate decision for you. |
Consultation Dr. McClendon and Claire Breedlove, LCSW offer virtual/video chat consultations addressing issues of OCD-S (scrupulosity). Consultations are open to all; not restricted to Utah residents or approved teletherapy states. Consultations are 50 minutes. |
